Hours:
Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm and pre auction weekend.

Euro Auctions conducts unreserved auctions of industrial plant, construction equipment and agricultural machinery on a global basis with sites in the UK, Europe, UAE, Australia, US and Canada. We are the market leader in Europe, holding more sales and selling more lots per sale than any other auction house.

We currently require an experienced forklift operator to lead and assist in preparation of the yard prior to the sale, and movement of machinery during the auction.

Key Activities:

  •    Safe movement of equipment and machinery in the auction yard.
  •   Assisting with movement of stock to prepare for line up and loading.
  •  Assisting in yard operations to ensure the smooth running of all auctions.

The Person:

Due to the nature of this role, you must be able to work both indoors and outdoors year-round and be physically fit to climb on and off large equipment.

The Requirements

Essential Criteria:

  •  Counterbalance Forklift license.
  • Ideally you should be an experienced forklift driver with a sound knowledge of a busy yard or site – however on the job training will be provided.
  • Good communication skills and fluent in English.
  • This is a physically demanding, all-weathers role; all applicants must be in good health.
  • Ability to take instruction as well as working independently on own initiative and follow Health and Safety legislation.

Desirable Criteria: 

  • Prior experience operating and knowledge of all types of heavy equipment and trucks.
