Registration Requirements

To participate in any of our auctions, whether on-site or online, you must register for that specific auction to receive a bidding number. All winning bids will be recorded under the corresponding bidder number.

Please review the following information carefully. To register, bidders must agree to the Euro Auctions Buyer Terms and Conditions, as outlined below:

By submitting the registration form or registering online, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Buyer Terms and Conditions.

New Buyers

A new buyer is a customer or company that has not made a purchase from Euro Auctions within the past two years. This also applies to bidders who have previously placed a deposit but did not purchase any lots at the auction.

All new buyers must pay a deposit before placing a bid with the only exemption being specific auctions that state “no deposit required”. A deposit determines the maximum amount they are allowed to spend. The deposit is calculated as a percentage of the maximum credit limit the buyer wishes to set, with the minimum credit limit for a new buyer being £2,000. See Deposits and Payments for more information.

When bidding on-site, all new buyers will be required to complete a registration form and provide the following information:

  1. Photographic Identification – At least one form of ID (e.g., Driver’s License, Passport, or National ID Card).
  2. Letter of Authorisation – A letter from the Company Director on official letterhead if bidding on behalf of a company.
  3. Company VAT Number – If applicable.

(Please note that deposits will be refunded the week following the auction to customers who are unsuccessful in their bids. Deposits are returned in the same method they are paid.)

Regular Buyer

A regular buyer is a customer or company that has made a purchase from Euro Auctions within the last 2-year period.

A deposit may be required from a regular buyer in the following circumstances:

  • Where a balance remains outstanding from previous auctions
  • Where the projected spend is considered excessive in relation to your current credit limit

To register for on-site bidding, all regular buyers will be required to complete a registration form and provide the following:

  1. Photographic Identification – At least one form of ID (e.g., Driver’s License, Passport, or National ID Card).
  2. Letter of Authorisation – From a Company Director on official company letterhead, if bidding on behalf of a business where the buyers name is not listed.
  3. Company VAT Number – If applicable.

(Please contact the Administration Department in advance of the auction date to ascertain if a deposit is required)
